Madeira Atlantic Festival

This Festival is celebrated every year in June in Madeira! During the month of June the city of Funchal is the stage for concerts as well as musical and artistic performances.

The highlights of the Festival are the musical pyrotechnic shows which take place every Saturday of the month in the late evening. The fireworks light the sky over the harbour while music simultaneously invades the air in a breath taking display. Funchal’s amphitheatre once again lends its beauty to this festival welcoming summer.

The avenue along the sea side crowds with locals and tourists alike who are all there to appreciate the intensity and colour of the fireworks display which fills the sky over Funchal harbour.
