Climbing Beginners

For those wishing to start in the world of climbing. Begin the activity with the presentation of the equipment and safety rules.

Coastal Climbing (Baía D’Abra)

This activity takes place on the east of Madeira Island, more precisely in “Caniçal” (Baía d’Abra), in a Natural Park where the rocks and sea unite, forming a unique landscape in a paradisiacal place. The difficulty level can be low/medium and the paths can reach 15 meters, suiting up for all ages with experience or not.

Mountain Climbing: Lombo do Mouro, Bica da Cana

This climbing spot is in the Mountain between the top of Encumeada and Bica da Cana. It is like a classic climbing school (where you install the climbing protections): the excellent quality of the rock for the use of protections allows very safe climbing conditions, where you will find paths from III to IV level of difficulty and approximately 15 meters high.

Pro Peaks - Pico Cidrão (Peak Areeiro)

It starts at “Pico Cidrão”, the third highest peak of Madeira with 1801 meters high within the Madeira Natural Park. Please note that it is required to have advance climbing and abseiling capabilities.
